I have always been fond of taking pictures and videos. This Christmas my father bought me a new camcorder, Sony DVD HD Handycam and to put it simply, I loved it. I’ve always loved the products by Sony. This one is no exception either. It’s very light and compact and has got excellent features for its price. The video quality at 1080i full HD is absolutely crystal clear and mind-blowing. And I love the audio output too. The 5.1 channels mic records amazing sound.

Unlike my old camcorder, the ‘Steadyshot’ and integrated flash allow me to take excellent videos and pictures even in between a video. The stills are also fabulous, as it has got a 10.2 mega-pixel still image capture and 15x Optical Zoom. I was unable to transfer my videos to my PC earlier. Then I found the required codecs on a website. Now I could transfer my stuff to the PC in no time by connecting the USB, and watched the videos on Windows media player. My brother has got a PS3. So now I can just plug the memory stick and play the videos.

And yes it’s also got the face detection feature too. Well, one can certainly expect a Sony product to come loaded.
