Canon HG10 AVCHD High Definition Camcorder with Optical Image Stabilizer Latest 2009 Review

I have been using video cameras since a long time. I have used various High Definition Camcorders from various brands. Then I bought Canon last month and I can say this with absolute certainty that it’s the best I’ve come across yet. I had to attend a family function last weekend. We clicked numerous photos and shot videos, which I burnt onto DVD’s and shared it with my friends. Personally I believe this Canon HG10 camcorder gives the finest image results I’ve ever seen on an AVCHD format device.

It’s got great image stabilization and perceptive controls, my favorite being the multi-speed zoom control. The colors are superb and videos taken are sharp and crystal clear. As I use a Mac, I find it even more useful. It works excellently on my Mac with both iMovie and Final Cut Express 4. I’ve used it at home, at night, in the open under bright sun. The picture quality is splendid. Yesterday, I was used it to shoot some scenes at a rally and the videos were first-class. Though, I was worried about the objects in motion, but it turned out to be great.

Canon has proven its name time and again. I can say for sure, this time it has superceded their own standards.
