After I lost my last Sony tape camcorder, I decided I to buy the new High Definition Hard Drive Handycam Camcorder by Sony. And no kidding, I’m certainly a happy man. The video and audio recording is far better than my earlier Handycam. The sound quality is great because it has got 5.1 recording feature. I make good use of the video features; like night vision, black and white and sepia, which can be combined too if needed; to make candid family films. After shooting videos of my children, we have a great time seeing everything all over again on the TV.

This Sony HDR-SR12 has got 10.5-mega pixel still image capture, which gives first-rate stills. We went out for a drive at night last week. Although normally in cameras, the videos have a green touch if night-vision is on. But in my case, though the picks were slightly grainy, it could pick almost everything, even with the night vision off. I was simply amazed to discover that.
