RCA EZ209HD Small Wonder HD Camcorder Review
The RCA EZ209HD is billed as the small wonder high-definition camcorder. With the RCA EZ209HD it is easier to save and share memorable moments. Aiming and recording without the confusion of numerous buttons to press is what the RCA EZ209’s simple point-and-shoot feature offers the users. Its compact and slim design allows a user to carry it in their purse or pocket.
This small wonder can capture1280 x 720 video at 30 fps or 848 x 480 at 60 fps when in sports mode that can be saved in a 256MB internal memory . With a Micro SD card slot extension it can extend the memory up to 16GB. A 16GB card is able to record up to 8 hours HD footages, 19 hours of high quality sports mode recording and 49 hours of WebQ mode recording. Still photos of 3200 x 2400 can also be shot while recording is going on. This ostensibly basic feature of being able to shoot still pictures at a very functional resolution makes the RCA EZ209HD a considerably more adaptable camcorder than the other products in the market.
The RCA EZ209HD is not equipped with an optical zoom but there is a 3x digital zoom if and when it is absolutely needed and a close-up/landscape mode. Under sufficient natural light video and still images are great, colors are vivid and images are clear and crisp. Recording and shooting indoors when it is well-lit is also good but not in dark and dim places such as a bar or a concert.
Videos can be viewed on the big 2-inch color display of the RCA EZ209HD. After recording, this small wonder can be connected to a TV with an HDMI or AV cable for easy viewing. It is also easy and hassle-free to share video and photos directly to YouTube and download footages to a computer via the USB arm.
